Aurore

Privacy

Aurore is designed not to need to know you. This page describes exactly what stays on your device and what the server receives.

What never leaves your device

Syncing between your devices goes through your own iCloud account. Aurore has no access to it, and no server holding a copy.

There is no account

The app asks for no address, no password, no identifier. There is therefore no profile to tie to a reading history — neither here nor anywhere else.

What the server receives

Two things, and nothing else:

They do not allow anyone to reconstruct what a person read, and that is not a matter of internal policy: the data needed to do so is not collected.

Notifications

The server sends a silent wake-up at fixed hours. It is an empty signal: it does not carry your delivery time, which is never transmitted. It is the app, on your device, that decides whether a paper is due.

No trackers

No ad network, no third-party analytics, no cookie on this site.
